Lord’s Army Chisinau

The Lord's Army is an evangelical renewal movement within the Orthodox Church. This community in Chisinau focuses on ministries with adults and youth, including: weekly clubs for children and young people, evangelistic conferences, retreats, bible studies and summer/winter camps. This orthodox evangelical community also distributes Christian literature and bibles and provides community/family welfare. In the past, the Lord's Army community also ran Alpha for all ages, organised evangelical activities and radio programs. In March 2022 it converted the first floor of its building to host up to 30 refugees fleeing from the Ukraine war, mainly women and children. This provision is ongoing. Ionel Samoila is an administrator for the Lord's Army community, assisted by his wife, Lula.
